GERMAN State Railways Central Office workers peaked cap. Circa.1936/37

Good original peaked cap, a little faded and very grubby, blue cap edged in red piping, black velvet band with National State cockade roundel to front and above a gilded(Lost much of its finish) National emblem eagle and swastika. Dark blue cap cords with gilt intertwine, black fibre peak. The lining is intact although the leather sweatband is coming adrift in places. DRGM stamped to sweatband together with makers logo and name and standard triangular label to inside top with makers name upon it. A good original Third Reich period item of headdress and attractive.
