Interesting Note.
This particular item came from the Private World War Two Military museum at Royan France, which was auctioned off through Hermann Historica Germany a few years ago, last year the owner approached me to purchase his entire British & Commonwealth badge collection which he had not placed in the auction, this is one of the badges from that collection.
Short History
The Division was formed in November 1940 and was located in South Wales and the West of England.It was responsible for the Anti-Aircraft defences of Plymouth, Bristol and Exeter during 1942 Baedeker raids and ‘tip and run’ attacks on the South Coast of England.
