Superb and rare Officers gold plated Croix de Guerre 1914-1917, complete with correct ribbon and 5 palm leaves and two bronze stars attached. Officers could purchase these privately and these particular Croix de Guerre’s are much sought after these days. Condition is Excellent.
N.B. Bronze palms denoting being mentioned at Army level, silver stars denoting being mentioned at Division level and the bronze star denoting being mentioned at Regiment or Brigade level.
