FRANCE. Sapeur Pompier Officier de Compagnie helmet.Circa.1885-1895
Very attractive Officers helmet of the Sapeur Pompiers Ploeuc. Nickel plate helmet with gilded badge to the front for officers with leather lining edged in officers tress and leather chinstrap. The red feather plume is correct but is a new replacement plume. These helmets were worn from 1885 through and into the Great War of 1914/18. Good condition and very attractive.
