Japan. World War Two Japanese Army Officer’s cap with collar rank badge pinned to side.Circa.1941/45
A superb Japanese World War Two Officer’s cap, the woollen cap has three air-vents to each side, stitched peak and laced rear for sizing, the lining is silk with a leather sweatband. To the front is a brown leather chinstrap, a brass star and pinned to the cap a rank collar badge with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.(Bullion is worn and damaged but a very original piece with two silver stars). Ex- US Veteran’s pick up. Condition is good but this item has seen service and been worn and has a little moth traces, no the less a great item.
