Russia: Soviet Army Infantry Other Ranks Visor cap Circa.1970.
A very smart, good condition other ranks visor cap, the cap is size stamped 57, black velvet band with red piping, khaki top with red piping also.Fibre black peak, black plastic type chin cord and two anodised aluminium buttons in gilt to the side. Lining of linen with makers label and having a prototype lead seal for approved fastened to the rear. Condition is excellent.
Interest:- This particular cap was sent to me back in the early 1980’s from the Russian Embassy in London where I had a good friend and contact, when he left for other duties I received a large parcel containing Soviet caps,Uniforms and medal ribbons which over time will be listed on this website for sale.
