British Home Front.Churchill & Roosevelt Victory Ornament.1941
Typical 1940’s manufactured plaster ornament showing Roosevelt & Churchill facing each other and a ‘V’ for Victory sign and above the words”One ideal Freedom”. The ornament is approx. 8″ x 6″ in size and is made from plaster and finished in a type of oxidised copper finish,typical of this period. The reverse is plain black and on the base is the date 1941, Copyright and British Made.crudely pressed into the plaster. Some chips to the finish showing white plaster through but generally good overall. Interesting Home Front item and very collectable.
