British Civilian Gas mask in Reads of Liverpool tin.
Red tin manufactured by Reads Ltd.Liverpool, originally intended for Elkes biscuits these tins were manufactured to house gas masks and had details of use etc.printed to the outside. This particular tin is in well used condition, rusty and bent,however, it still retains a good colour and all information printed on it together with a worn paper label with the owners name and address written on it. To the inside of the tin there is the standard Civilian gas mask still in its cardboard box and in near mint condition.
